Counselling in a cost of living crisis

Why do we neglect ourselves to look after others? Especially when money is tight. Counselling is an investment in us. That is where counselling support comes in handy. It can offer the guidance and encouragement you need along the way. It can help you set realistic goals, boost your confidence, and make sense of your reactions.

Stress remains the largest cause of sickness within employment, going to therapy can help with managing the signs before it impacts on your mental and physical health. Politicians are stressing the younger population, and the effect stress and anxiety are having on their ability to find employment.

Starting out on your journey, whether it is personal, academic, or work-related, can sometimes feel a bit much. Counselling doesn’t need to be about the crisis in our lives, it can be about everyday challenges. For me it helped me understand why conflict was challenging for me, this included workplace disagreements.

Picture having a counsellor who gives you a safe, confidential spot to chat about your thoughts and feelings, helping you tackle challenges and introduce diverse ways to cope. By building self-awareness and resilience, counselling can help you overcome challenges and reach your full potential.

Remember, asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness, and it might be a crucial step towards a more fulfilling journey for you. Counselling is an investment in you and your future providing resilience and diverse coping mechanisms to manage emotions and stress for everyday challenges
